“We Are a Dying Country”

The state of the U.S. economy as of March 2013:

• Payrolls grew by 88,000 workers, but 663,000 Americans dropped out of the labor force – a difference of 21,700.
• Altogether, as many as 90 million working-age adults no longer work.
• 15% of Americans are on Food Stamps.
• In 2012, the food stamps program spent a record $80.4B.
