The footballer and the musician unite for a rendition of ‘Lego House’.
Wayne Rooney and Ed Sheeran are known to be close friends, and it’s not difficult to see why. I once attended a festival in which Sheeran’s particular blend of beige songwriting had lulled 75% of the crowd into a catatonic state, and have you ever seen Rooney in a post-match interview? The words that tumble from his potato face are similarly sleep-inducing.But now the pair have FINALLY collaborated together on the mic, performing an impromptu version of Sheeran’s ‘Lego House’ at a pub.

So how was Rooney’s performance? Well, it was certainly better than the performances Manchester United have been putting in as of late.
Tweeting after his evening out with Sheeran, Rooney wrote: “Brilliant time at Ed Sheeran concert last night. Thanks for a great night mate.”
