VICTORVILLE – Mojave River Watershed Group will be holding its annual State of Our Watershed Stormwater Workshop with the cities of Victorville, Apple Valley and Hesperia on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. According to organizers of the event, “It’s a chance for the public to learn about the efforts made by High Desert municipalities and the public outreach team to protect the Mojave River – and our drinking water – from pollution. The information shared at this workshop is incredibly valuable to city employees, residents and business owners.” Following a brief presentation on the 2012-2013 achievements, County, City and Town representatives will be on hand for a Q&A session and to speak individually with attendees. The presentation will take place at Victorville City Hall, Conference Room D, 14343 Civic Drive in Victorville. The flyer on the upcoming presentation can be viewed at sbcounty.gov/dpw/mojave_river.
