The grand-scale music of Los Angeles group WATERS wraps you in lush sonic atmosphere and hooks you with catchy guitar lines and powerful drumming. It’s both calming and energizing — the result of frontman Van Pierszalowski’s refocusing of his life after relentless touring with his former band Port O’Brien. Pierszalowski formed WATERS after traveling the world, living in places like Norway, Alaska, California, and finally Brooklyn (yay for us!). We’re so excited to share this Buzzsession, filmed in Los Angeles, including a cover of the classic track “Dreams” by The Cranberries.
‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series produced by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we capture footage of our favorite bands as they record alternate studio-quality versions of their songs. This Buzzsession was shot in Los Angeles, California.
