Watch Waitress’ Infectious, Fun Video for ‘beneath Our Feet’ [premiere]

The last time we wrote about Waitress, the title line read “Waitress Serve Up Extra Feel-Good With ‘Young In Mind’ “, and with the video premiere we bring you today, it seems feel-good is something the trio have mastered. “Beneath Our Feet” is taken from the band’s upcoming 7-track EP which was recorded in an old house in the forests of Sweden and intended to be “melancholic and symphonic” — yet that didn’t happen at all. Let this song and video be a testament to the fact that there is zero melancholy to their sound, as the dance synths bounce and they celebrate being young and living in the right now. The video features both vibrant colors and dancers, most notably Miss Prissy who formerly worked with both Snoop Dogg and Madonna. There’s a very fresh feeling in its aesthetic both sonically and visually that’s undeniably infectious and, yes, extremely feel-good. Waitress, composed of equal parts Danish and Swedish members, are an indie favorite in Denmark with Copenhagen, and their fan base is sure to grow internationally with their upcoming EP release.
