Watch: Valve’s New Steam Controller in Action

Despite its’ innovative design, a lot of gamers mocked the controller Valve made for its’ Steam gaming system. Well, now you can take a look at the controller and see how great it works in real-life. An engineer from Valve takes on this fully configurable thumbstick-free controller to show us how awesome Steam Controller works with games like Portal 2 and many others.

According to the video, the controller can be configured to work as keyboard and mouse to initiate certain functions to work in games like Portal 2 and Civilization V. Imagine playing sophisticated PC RTS games on a console/big screen TV without a huge keyboard, the Steam Controller makes it possible.
