The guys who brought you the awesome Avatar Gunship, FliteTest have now created a real-life flying RC version of the SHIELD Helicarrier from The Avengers movie.
Thanks to its powerful 8 Avroto motors, this 18.3-inch-long Helicarrier can actually take flight and also helps other tiny RC airplanes to take off and land on this ship. It’s probably the coolest quad-copter I’ve ever seen.

Check out the video after the jump for some build tips. Looks like these guys are planning to build a ship from Star Wars next. I hope it’s the Millennium Falcon.
