Watch: Gamer Beats Super Mario 64 in Under 7-Minutes, Sets New World Record

This YouTuber who goes by the named Akira has just beaten the world record time for a Super Mario 64 run, by finishing the game in just 6 minutes and 54 seconds, without even using any stars.

Needless to say, Akira seems to have some mad gaming skills, as well as great use of glitches in the game. Previous record for a Mario 64 speed run was 6 minutes and 58 seconds. Akira has managed to beat the record by 4 seconds.

Mario 64 may not be the best Super Mario game ever made, but the 1996 classic platformer has been the subject of record breakers for a long time. Let’s wait and see how long it will take for someone to beat the game faster than 6 minutes and 54 seconds.
