Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs was one of this year’s most-anticipated video games. Even I was looking forward to this game and was more excited to see it than any other game, including GTA V. The game was set to hit stores on November 19th, but with only one month left for the release, the game developer Ubisoft has decided to delay the launch.
On a blog post, Ubisoft explained that they are delaying the release until spring 2014 to make more improvements to the game.
“As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.” Ubisoft’s Communications Manager Gary Steinman stated on the blog post.

Sadly, this delay applies to all versions of the game, including PC, Xbox 360, PS3 as well as the next-gen consoles. Ubisoft always makes this kind of last-minute decisions to deliver the best quality products to gamers. This will probably buy more time for the team to focus on the Assassins Creed 4, which is coming out on October 29th.
