BOY are two girls who make candied pop music with an unyielding magnetic tug. The Swiss/German duo released their debut album two years ago in Europe, but Mutual Friends didn’t see its US release until just this past February. The black and white video for their latest single, “Oh Boy”, features the girls performing a bit of awkward choreography to the bouncy track amidst scenes of slightly unsettling imagery, a juxtaposition that only manages to come off as vastly charming — charm being the common factor for their highly capable pop.
