Apple’s annual WorldWide Developer Conference ( WWDC ) starts today. This 5-day conference is held annually where Apple showcases new Software and technologies they have been working on. This is not just an event for Apple to show the roadmap they have been following and will follow but also an event for developers to get a sneak peek of what to expect in future from Apple. Apart from the most awaited keynote there are hands-on labs and in-depth lectures/sessions with Apple engineers to cover variety of topics related to Apple technologies.
Since its inception from 2002, especially post 2007 WWDC became the most awaited conference of the year especially the Keynote which is the big presentation delivered by Steve Jobs for big announcements he had to make for the company. Now Steve Jobs’s position is taken by his successor Tim Cook.
This time you can watch this conference live. Because of the high demand and popularity Apple will stream the conference live but you need to use Safari browser on a Apple device to watch the stream live.
Live streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.
