It’s been two years since The xx released their debut album, xx, and now the British Mercury Music Prize winning band is on the verge of releasing their very much anticipated sophomore album, Coexist. The album hits shelves on September 11, but with the band in town this week, you can get a taste for what’s to come by heading to Terminal 5 this Thursday night. Also in town this week are Washed Out (pictured above), Chairlift, Bombay Bicycle Club, Sigur Rós (good luck getting tickets), Mumford & Sons, Miniature Tigers, the much buzzed about girls of Haim, and more.
Update: The Antlers are playing Glasslands tonight (Monday), but it’s already sold out. Try your luck on Craigslist.
