The Albums You Need to Know About Every Week
Sacramento sister duo, Dog Party, are just 17 and 14 years old, but they’re releasing their third full-length, beach-punk rock record this week. Don Cavalli, who’s dropping his sophomore effort this week, is a French singer-songwriter who writes funky blues with world music infusions and loads of soul. Liverpool five-piece, Outfit, drop their debut this week, full of haunting, minimal pop with instant atmosphere. And last is Washed Out’s second outing, which slips into a dreamy, chill sort of pop that invokes the warm fuzzies, which is, of course, incredible. Take a listen, and you’ll hear what I mean.
