Warwick House Weddings.
Warwick House Weddings are always a pleasure. I love Warwick House as I’m one of their recommended suppliers, It’s great to work with people on a regular basis and build on those all important relationships. It makes your job much easier too when you know the venue and how they work.
Paula & Simon came to see me in May of last year about being their wedding photographer. Paula had a firm idea of what she would like from her wedding photography and after seeing my work from other Warwick House weddings on their website she knew I would be able to deliver her intended vision. I started my day with Paula and her bridesmaids who were getting ready at Warwick House upstairs. I must give a special thank you to a good friend Kevin Evans for helping me out on the day, I’d recently had surgery on my hand so Kevin was there to assist in any way. He makes a great light stand but also takes fabulous photos – thank you mate. Simon arrived suited and booted with his ushers which enabled us to grab some great shots of them before the ceremony.
The Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was held in the smaller room due to the size of the their wedding party. It was my first time capturing a ceremony in this room as I’m normally in the much larger, rear room. Although there was no natural light the photographs we got are beautiful and full of color. Paula was all smiles through her ceremony which really came through in the wedding photographs.
Evening Portraits
This is the part of a wedding I really love, the second set of portraits after the wedding breakfast has finished. Images come alive with beautiful warmth from the ambiance. Couples always really enjoy this part as the formalities are done and dusted, the champagne/beer/wine is in full effect and they are generally more relaxed about the whole thing. Paula wanted the iconic “Bridal Suite’ window shot. The first time I did this was on Kate & Mikes wedding several years ago, Warwick House also have this on their website. It’s a firm favorite for sure with all couples.
