Want to Sleep in Usains' Bed?

Posted on the 09 September 2012 by Thewritefuture @thewritefuture

Recycling is the way to go to save the world from being covered in trash and garbage. And if recycling means you get a good deal, it even gets better! On the website The remains of the Games you can buy Fixtures, Fittings and Equipment Used by Some of The Most Famous Sporting Personalities In The World! All the products were Brand New, and will have been used on average for about 14 days. How cool would it be to sleep in the bed that Usain Bolt used the evening before he won the 100m race (or the one he slept in after he won it, if you have to believe the tabloids)!

On the website over 1 million items, used during the games, will be sold to start a new life with a -slightly less sporty- owner. The products vary from clothes hangers, to Complete Superlong Extended Olympic beds, to an Athletics Village Bathroom Bin (not sure if I really get excited about the bin though). But my favorite, by far, is the 3m high chair of the judge of the diving event. How often does it happen that you can buy something as cool as that! I'll make an (olympic) effort to get the most unique object and give it a second life! Recycling can be so much fun, if well organised!
