If you love to give to during the holiday season and you love artists like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Stevie Nicks, and Fleetwood Mac your perfect chance has arrived! Jame’s Rivera’s Sabbath Judas Sabbath – The Ultimate Black Sabbath & Judas Priest Tribute along with Nightbird – a Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks Tribute, will be performing tonite from 8 pm – 2 am at the Concert Pub & Grill located at 5636 Richmond Ave. (at Chimney Rock), Houston, TX 77057 to benefit for the Children’s Cancer Hospital at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Admission is a Christmas toy or $10 which will go towards the charity.
There will also be a raffle featuring many items including things donated by the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, former NFL Quarterback Dan Pastorini and many others.
In fact, the Wild Heart will be there and I have 5 reasons why you need to come if you live in either Houston, Atascocita, Kingwood, Katy, Sugarland, Spring, Cypress, and all those other suburbs:
- Cancer sucks! Not only does cancer affect the individual both physically and emotionally, but it affects their loved ones. I had a friend in college whose mother went through a few fights with cancer. It did take a toll on my friend. Thankfully her mother is alive and well today.
- Children with cancer is already a hard thing to digest mentally, emotionally and for the parent – physically. Why not help eradicate cancer by giving to one of the best cancer facilities in the world so they can get rid of this horrible disease?
- Nightbird always puts on a great show. They are not to be missed!
