American retail giant, Walmart unveiled this brand new transport truck concept named “WAVE” or Walmart Advanced Vehicle Experience. With a radical design, the company plans to use this truck to cut down on fuel costs.
The WAVE gets powered by a micro-turbine hybrid powertrain and can run on diesel, natural gas, biodiesel and other fuels as well. That design also takes a big part in fuel economy as it makes this truck 20 percent more aerodynamic than any other truck in Walmart’s possession.

“It may never make it to the road, but it will allow us to test new technologies and new approaches,” stated Doug McMillon, President & CEO, Walmart.
