Ubisoft isn’t ready to develop games for virtual reality devices just yet, in fact, the tech would need to sell 1 million units before the company would even consider developing for devices like Oculus and Sony's new Project Morpheus.
Speaking during a round table session at GDC 2014, Ubisoft’s VP of creative Lionel Raynaud, said Oculus Rift or Sony’s Project Morpheus need to sell big first.
“VR would need to sell at least 1 million units to be viable for development,” Raynaud said.
Oculus Rift is currently still in a dev kit SKU while Sony just announced its VR headset last night.
