Vlogmas Day 16 & 17 - Festive Fashion

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
I don't know about you but over Christmas time, I like getting all glammed up (for a few days anyways..) so I thought I would show you my festive fashion picks!
Vlogmas Day 16 & 17 - Festive Fashion Up first is this dress from Taking Shape.  This comes to the knee and has a straight fit. Normally, straight fitting dresses scare me a bit because I fear looking like a blob LOLZ.  This dress fits in all the right places and has little chiffon sleeves. I like that it has a lot of sequins throughout the dress which makes it the ideal party frock for Christmas. I also like that it's not an awkward length - not too short and not too long. This is fully lined and doesn't feel itchy on your skin. Hallelujah!
Vlogmas Day 16 & 17 - Festive Fashion This outfit is head to toe Simply Be. Starting with the top, I chose this because it's khaki meaning it can be worn with black without looking boring and it can be worn to work too. This has a plaited front which wraps over into a v-neck neckline. This top is a little bit short for me (I'm 5,7) so I tucked it into this skirt. This is a PU pleated straight skirt. Normally I go for a skater skirt but I wanted to choose a work-themed skirt that had a bit of an edge. Just because you're working over Christmas doesn't mean you can't look glam!
Vlogmas Day 16 & 17 - Festive Fashion Another skirt to add to your workwear Christmas glam wardrobe. This skirt is from Asos Curve and has a geometric monochrome print. It has a skater style which flares out slightly at the hip and stops below the knee. It's made of a jersey material making this super comfortable and roomy (thank the lord. Now pass the Quality Street...) I teamed this with a gray top from Primark and some 100 denier black tights from Evans. Comfy, glam and practical. Bonus!
Which outfits are you wearing over Christmas?
