VLC For Android Is Finally Out of Beta

Video LAN Client ( VLC ) player is one the most popular video players for desktops. About two years ago they launched the Beta version for Android which a notorious warning that using the beta build might kill your kitten and destroy your house. But worry no more. VLC is finally out of Beta.

VLC is finally out of beta and is now its in 1.0 build which means it would be the most stable release. Along with the stable release are some bug fixes for Lollipop but lacks the long announced Chromecast support.

Despite all this, VLC is still considered a beast of a video player for Android mainly because it support tons of audio and video formats all within the player without downloading any more add-ons or plug-ins or any type of in-app purchases.
