Vita system software update 3.10 increases app limit, much more
Vita owners can download a new firmware update today, adding a couple of much-requested improvements.
According to the PlayStation Blog, system software 3.10 will allow you to display up to 500 app icons on the home screen – a major increase on the 100 previously allowed.
To help you decide what to keep and what to delete, now that you have 500 slots to choose from, Sony has added a content manager for memory cards.
Voice messaging has been added, and as the PS4 also supports this feature, it will be cross-platform compatible.
A new calendar app allows players to create gameplay events and invite friends to share them, and it can be synced with Google Calendar. The rest of the updates are through the link above.
