Virtual Fundraising
With Ronald McDonald House Charities UK
On Friday 27th November, Ronald McDonald House Charities UK will be hosting a virtual fundraising event to support its work in providing a place to stay for families with children going through hospital treatment.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to get involved and help celebrate this fantastic event and charity for the second time running.
The Charity
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK opened its first house in 1989 and has since then, accommodated over 50,000 families across the UK operating near 11 NHS hospitals.
Providing a place to stay eases the burden of finding accommodation for families who are having a stressful time with a child in hospital.
The Event
The appropriately named ‘Black Tie and Slippers: Mission Impossible’ event will be a virtual gala streamed from Manchester City Centre at 8pm.
The online event will be an evening of fundraising with celebrity appearances, family stories and entertainment, hosted by Denise Welch and Bruce Turner.
Our very own MD commented: “We’re proud to be supporting such a fantastic charity that do crucial work in housing families so that they can be near one another during hospital treatment. With so many events and plans cancelled this year, we’re pleased that the gala is still able to go ahead and hope that even more can attend now that it is being hosted online. This will mark the second year of our partnership with the charity and we look forward to continuing with this support in future.”
