Jan Brett is a new to me author and I chose her Christmas Trolls to read with the kids.
We loved this story that mentions the importance of giving during Christmas. The illustrations are stunning with lots of details to explore.
Having read the book, we made our own Christmas trees using finger paints. I draw a tree on green card and the kids painted them using Christmassy colours.
The paint had this jelly like consistency and both kids enjoyed this sensorial experience so much!
When the paint dried, I cut the trees out for them and we hang them in our play room.
Defne decorated her tree using some stickers.
