How Do Our Customers Use Violet Fragrance Oil in Bath and Body Recipes?
Violet Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden bears the distinct, refreshing floral aroma of rich fresh violets. Shower gels and bath time recipes perform nicely when the maximum recommendation of 5% fragrance oil is added. You will watch your product line flourish as Violet Fragrance Oil enhances your creations! Handmade perfumes perform well with this fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used. Homemade lotions, creams, and massage oils can be created using this scent. We recommend your recipes use no more than 5% fragrance oil. Also, you can create your own scented cleaning recipes using up to 5% of this floral aroma.
Handcrafted soapers can use 5% fragrance oil in hot process soap, melt and pour soap, or cold process soap recipes. Our cold process soap testing results show that this fragrance oil accelerates trace, so do your soaping at room temperature. There was no ricing, however there was separation that was reabsorbed, thus creating a wonderful bar of soap. Cured soap exhibited a strong scent retention and discolored to a light lavender. If you wish to color your soap, we recommend using purple soap dye in the amount that satisfies you. However, remember not to use candle dye in any of your bath and body products as they are not body safe.

Candles and wax tarts can be made using up to 10% fragrance with vegetable and paraffin wax. It does nicely in Joy Wax, Wow Wax, and even Pillar of Bliss. If you wish to color your candles, we recommend using 3 drops of purple liquid candle dye. You can also shred a small amount of purple color blocks into your melted wax. Do not use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.
