 Last week Ellis went with her best friend Hannahto Beverly Hills for a Bhldn event at the Anthropologie store...
{you can see Ellis's  BEAUTIFUL post HERE...
and Hannah's BEAUTIFUL post post HERE...}
So... finding the perfect accessory was a necessity...
Ellis has been interested in flower crowns lately...so I had the perfect piece for her!A flower crown from my line from years ago.
Pulling this beautiful piece out...had me reminiscing about my original accessory line...which now falls under the realm of vintage...(taking off 20 years to raise a family will do that ...  but I'd make the same choice again...
in a heart beat)
This particular crown...

But another  sweet part of this  vintage/fashion/family story...
all of the elements in the flower crown...are pieces given to me by Jeff's Grandmother...who had worked atthe millinery department in Saks Fifth Avenue in NYCduring her youth.
This flower crown is the epitome...of a fashion piece with a soul...so..Ellis wearing it so very beautifully to the event...made my heart so very happy.

When I shuttered my business to raise my 3...I poured much of my creativity into dressing my most beloved daughter..

This week we are both interested in our own versions offlower crowns.
I have a beautiful pinterest board here.
