I don't know about you, but I love watching silent movies.
When I was a teenager, my grandmother used to take out her Super 8 equipment once or twice a year. The entire family would watch movies for hours and reminisce the "good old days".
With platforms like YouTube, it's easier than ever to travel back in time. Take the video below, for example.
This documentary of everyday life in New York City in 1911 was made by a team of cameramen working with the Swedish company Svenska Biografteatern. You can see the Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor, Broadway sights, and Madison Avenue among other things.
