Victorville City Library Increases Internet Service for Patrons

The following is an announcement from the City of Victorville regarding faster Internet service at the city’s library.

VICTORVILLE – The Victorville City Library recently received an upgrade to its internet service and is now offering patrons free hi-speed internet.

The Victorville City Library technology center contains 19 public computers that patrons can reserve for up to two hours each day. An additional 10 computers outside of the technology center are also available to the public. All of the computers are equipped with standard office applications, and all were recently upgraded with free high-speed Internet access.

Library patrons can reserve their time in the computer center for two hours. Patrons are required to have a valid Victorville City Library card or a San Bernardino County Library card to use the computer center. Victorville City Library cards are free; however there is a $2.00 replacement fee for lost cards. A valid photo identification and proof of a physical mailing address are all that is required.

The library offers free computer classes three times a week. Classes take place on Friday mornings from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and again on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. One class is taught in Spanish on Monday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Victorville City Library is located at 15011 Circle Drive, Victorville, CA 92395. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. Friday hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
