Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Provide Relief for Sick Moms! #sponJudging by my conversations with friends and blog posts I’ve read, this has been a really nasty cold and flu season. It seems like almost every household has been hit hard this year with those awful respiratory bugs. There’s not a lot you can do when those viruses attack, but you can manage your symptoms and get some relief from over-the-counter products like Vicks NyQuil and DayQuil. Whenever I feel a cold coming on, I go to bed with a dose of NyQuil. It helps me to sleep well, and I always wake up feeling better than the night before.
Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Provide Relief for Sick Moms! #sponAs a mom, I know that when I’m not feeling well, the whole household suffers. I’m grouchy with my kids, lack the energy to handle everyday responsibilities, and just want to crawl into bed and be alone! Unfortunately, that’s usually not an option. The children need to get to school and sporting events, meals need to be made, laundry needs to get done … you get the picture! Even with a helpful husband, everything just runs much more smoothly when we work as a team. So, it’s tough when one or both of us is down with a cold or flu bug.
Thankfully, I keep a supply on hand of Vicks DayQuil to help me get through the day and NyQuil to help me sleep through the night when I’m sick. Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil ease the five symptoms of a cold: aches, sore throat, fever, cough, and stuffy head. However, the ingredients are slightly different so you won’t be drowsy during the day. Both products are the #1 pharmacist-recommended brand for adult use! I’ve tried many different cold- and flu-relief products over the years, and I can honestly say that Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil work the best for me. And I just found out that NyQuil is available in a new flavor: Vanilla Cherry Swirl!
The next time you start to feel those familiar symptoms of a cold or flu, keep them at bay with Vicks DayQuil during the day and NyQuil at night. As busy parents, we can’t afford to waste much time feeling lousy! With a little help, we can get through the “sick season” and be able to care for our families.
