Last week, Vetiver’s Andy Cabic gave fans at Bowery Ballroom an amazing, low-key set, fitting for a project known for its perfect subtlety. The performers on stage arrived without bells and whistles, seeking only to play their music — the result was incredibly enjoyable and organic. Vetiver was preceded by Eric D. Johnson of The Fruit Bats who played work from his newest project, EDJ, in addition to some Fruit Bats favorites.
