How Do Our Customers Use Vetiver Fragrance Oil in Bath and Body Recipes?
Vetiver Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden can be used in bath and body products to create a subtle, spicy spa experience! Bath fizzies, body scrubs, and body oils perform nicely when the maximum recommendation of 5% fragrance oil is added. Vetiver Fragrance Oil maintains a distinct aroma, making it stand out in any product in which it is used! Handmade perfumes perform well with this fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used. In additional homemade vetiver lotions and body butters can be created using Vetiver Fragrance Oil. We recommend lotion recipes use no more than 5% fragrance oil. Homemade cleaning recipes can also be created using a maximum of 5%.
Soap crafters can use can also use 5% fragrance oil in hot process soap, melt and pour soap, or liquid soap recipes. Our cold process soap testing results show that this fragrance performs very nicely! There is no ricing, no acceleration, no separation, and no discoloration. In addition, the cured soap had a good scent retention. If you wish to color your soap, we recommend using teal soap dye in the amount that satisfies you. Remember not to use candle dye in any of your bath and body products as they are not body safe.

You can use this smooth, earthy fragrance oil in incense sticks and cones and smelly jelly recipes. This fragrance oil was also found to create strongly scented aroma bead ornaments.
And finally, handcrafted candles and scented wax tarts can be made using up to 10% fragrance. We have found it does nicely in Joy Wax, Wow Wax, and even soy wax candles. If you wish to color your candles, we recommend using 6 drops of teal liquid candle dye. You can also shred a small amount of red color blocks into your melted wax. However, do not use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.
