About a week ago I made my first purchases from Very.co.uk, and here's what I thought!
I've mentioned this in a previous blog post, but for the purposes of this post I'll just recap. While looking through some pictures on Google Images, for the life of me I can't remember what I was looking for, I spotted an amazing Giraffe print shift dress and knew I wanted it. I clicked around for a bit and discovered that it was a Dee V by Diana Vickers dress from Very.co.uk. Rich had a voucher for £30 off, when you spent over £60 on your first credit order so I knew I was going to buy the dress. To make the order over £60 I also ordered a dress from the Holly Willoughby range, which I will show you in an Outfit post very soon.
So that's the background, but what I really want to rave about is the Very 'experience!'
I ordered both of these dresses on a Wednesday evening after 9pm, but as I was going out on the Saturday I held no hope that they were going to be here on time, it would have been nice but it was by no means an emergency, I mean lets face it, I could hardly say that I had nothing to wear!
.........I was completely amazed when I realised that they had an amazingly convenient delivery option, Collect+. Now forgive me if I'm behind the times with this one, but I'm honestly telling you that this is the first time I've every had the opportunity to select such a delivery option.
Instead of having my items delivered to my home address and having to wait in all day for a parcel, that could arrive at any time, this option allowed me to put in my postcode and select my local Collect+ pick-up point, where my items would be delivered, free of charge, next day. Amazing!!
I got a confirmation Email telling me that I would need to take my account number and a utility bill to my local Spar and that I would get a second Email confirming when my order was available for collection. I got the message on Friday morning and collected the parcel. no fuss. Best of all I got to wear my new dress for a night out that weekend, I couldn't have been happier!
I will definitely buy from Very again, they made it so easy!
