Have you ever heard of ‘Veggie Fish & chips’?! I had some a few years ago at the Britannia Pub in Northampton. It was chips, mushy peas and veggie fish – which is battered fried halloumi!
So here is my version ( actually tasted better)..
Ingredients:
1 Pack of Halloumi
100ml Milk
100g Self Raising Flour
Pinch of salt
Oil ( for Frying)

Either make or buy some halloumi (widely available at most grocery shops)

Remove from the pack and rinse if desired. Heat up a pan of oil or heat up the deep fat fryer if you have one ( I fried in a pan)

In a measuring jug add 100g self rising flour, pinch of salt and 100mls of milk and mix together with a fork to remove all the lumps.

Put 5-6 pieces into the jug, stir and cover in batter and slowly drop into the oil, fry until golden brown.

Serve straight away with chips or with some vegetables. Great to dip into your favorite sauce and enjoy!
