Vegan Cuts: A Review

Como Water Vegan Cuts

On the weekends, I usually post a new recipe, but this week, I’m mixing it up a bit. A few months ago a woman from Vegan Cuts contacted me asking if I wanted to try a complementary box. My sister has been subscribing to Vegan Cuts for months and I had seen folks posting about Vegan Cuts on Instagram, so I was totally game. A couple of days later I received a box in the mail. Exciting moment #1–mail that wasn’t a bill! Then, I opened the box to find all these little goodies. Exciting moment #2–I love grazing and this box provided snacks from olives to protein bars for me to graze on for days!

After eating one of the gluten free Bumble Bars, I added this Skratch to my water bottle and went for a run. Exciting moment #3–I ran four miles for the first time since my two knee injuries this winter. Now, I am not going to say it’s because of the Skratch, but one shouldn’t rule it out either ;).

Next, came the roasted chickpeas (which I had actually tasted before) and the Hemp Hearts, which I added to some coconut yogurt and strawberries. It was tasty, but in all honesty, it tasted “healthy,” which I personally, have to be in the mood for.

All in all, my box full of Chia drink, crackers, nut butter, olives, tea, and other goodies was fun, and definitely, most, most definitely allowed me to taste a number of products I would never have bought on my own if I had just seen them in the grocery store. Want more info? Check out the Vegan Cuts website here! Have a great day and “see” you all next week with a new recipe (just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!).
