Kumkumadi tailam/kumkumadi oil is gaining a lot of hype for their various skin benefits. Today i am going to review a kumkumadi tailam from a brand called VASU and also their aloe vera gel.
Let me give you guys a small introduction about the brand before jumping into the review.

How is the consistency and color?
This oil has a runny consistency and is light yellow in color.
How is the fragrance?
This Vasu beauty oil doesn’t have a very strong smell.
Does it feel sticky? How is the texture of vasu kumkumadi thailam?
This vasu facial beauty oil inspite of being a blend if multiple oils don’t feel sticky or heavy at all
Once the oil blends completely into the skin, it leaves the face soft, supple and slightly glowy.
My mother in law has been using this for a while and she felt that her skin is doing pretty good. She has been using it every night, she could notice that her face has brightened up a bit. Ever since she has started using this oil her skin doesn’t feel the need of using physical scrub (especially the under lip area where her skin feels little flaky and rough)
You can also use this facial oil before foundation for a smooth base. If you have very dry skin then you can mix it with your foundation to get a glowy look.
I feel this is absolutely suitable for all skin types.
It did not cause any breakouts or allergic reactions. But I would highly suggest you to do a patch test before trying all over your face.

The aloe vera gel comes in green plastic aloe leaf shaped bottled which is quite attractive and handy to carry.
How is the consistency and fragrance?
The consistency of this aloe gel is medium. Neither runny nor a thickkkk gel. The brand claims to have zero fragrance and it stands true to its claims. This gel doesn’t have any fragrance at all.
How is this vasu aloe vera gel?
Overall I feel this gel is really good. It makes the hair softer. You can apply this on your hair and scalp as such or mix it with coconut oil or any hair oil of your choice and apply it to your hair.
This gel is hydrating and non-sticky. It can be used as a moisturizer too. You can also add this to any of your face mask for extra hydration and cooling effect.
If you are prone to catching a cold easily I would suggest you to avoid using it on hair during winter season.
Different ways to use Vasu Aloe vera gel
If you have an itchy scalp: Mix this vasu Aloe vera gel with coconut oil/olive oil and massage your hair really well. Wash it off after 4 hours.
If you have dry hair tips: use this Aloe vera gel as a serum
If you have dry skin: Mix this aloe vera gel with green tea and use it as a face mist
You can literally use it in a lot of different ways as well.
