How Do Our Customers Use Vanilla Wafer Fragrance Oil in Bath and Body Recipes?

You can create a mouthwatering bath and body experience with this fragrance oil!  Homemade scrub recipes, bath fizzies, and bath teas were found to do well.  We suggest a maximum recommendation of 5% fragrance oil be added.  Vanilla Wafers Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden is a sweet scent that can be used in all of your scented projects!  Handmade perfumes perform well with this vanilla fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used.  Homemade lotions and cream recipes can also be created with 5% scent in your recipe.  Homemade cleaning recipes can also be created using a maximum of 5%.

Also, you can use 5% fragrance oil in hp soap, melt and pour soap base, or cold process soap recipes.  In fact, our cold process soap testing results show that soaps made with this scent perform beautifully!  There was no ricing, no separation, and no acceleration.  Cured soap had a strong scent retention.  However, this vanilla aroma does discolor the handmade soap to a dark chocolate.  A contributing factor to the discoloration is the 11% Vanillin content of this fragrance oil.  Vanillin contributes to the discoloration of soap, but incorporating Vanilla White Color Stabilizer may help reduce the effects of this discoloration.    If you do wish to color your soaps, you may use liquid soap dye in the amount of your choosing.  However, you should not use candle dye in body products, they will stain your skin.

How Do Our Customers Use Vanilla Wafer Fragrance Oil in Room Scenting Recipes?

Sugary-sweet Vanilla Wafers Fragrance Oil is sure to elicit some fond childhood memories!  Those creating homemade air fresheners can incorporate up to 50% of this fragrance oil in their projects.  You can use this sweet fragrance oil in incense and smelly jelly recipes.  This fragrance oil was also found to create strongly scented aroma beads.  Moreover, this vanilla scent can be used at a 50% usage rate in homemade potpourri recipes.

Finally, Vanilla Wafer scented candles and homemade wax melts can be made using up to 10% fragrance with vegetable and paraffin wax.  It does nicely in container candles using palm container wax, Joy Wax, Wow Wax, and soy waxes. Further, this vanilla scent can can be used to create pillar candles using palm pillar wax or Pillar of Bliss wax.  We find that the natural color of our waxes represents this aroma well, therefore we do not recommend a colorant.  If you do wish to color your candles, you may use a small amount of liquid candle dye or shredded color blocks.  Do not use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.
