After years living in the top 40 world after the success of breakthrough hits like “A Thousand Miles”, Vanessa Carlton has turned the musical-page and joined us in the indie world. With Blue Pool and Nothing Where Something Used To Be, she reveals the new direction with these beautiful, dark ballads. It was just Vanessa and a piano for the session down at Douglass St Records, as she showed off her songwriting, singing and performing chops.
