Last year I had the girls over for Valentine’s Day for small bites, cocktails and cookie decorating, and the year before that, I styled this sweet table scape. But this year, since I was going to be busy working on a few projects for parties I’m styling in the next few months, and heading on vacation at the end of February, I choose to just create a Valentine’s day floral arrangement. I plan on pairing the arrangement, which is inspired by this post, with a few easy desserts you can share with your love, family, friends, child’s school or even your coworkers, along with a deliciously pretty cocktail too. I wanted the Valentine’s day florals and decor to be simple, while still being special, lovely and romantic.

I was inspired by this year’s color of the year, Rose Quartz, because it is such a beautiful color, and lends itself perfectly for this romantic holiday. The other inspiration came from binge watching Downton Abbey, and so I wanted to recreate the look of a vintage English garden, precisely the church bazaar episode, but in a slightly modern way. I’m still working on the final details but can’t wait to share the Valetine’s styling with you when it’s all done. In the meantime here is my inspiration board for a Romantic Rose Quartz inspired Valentine’s Day…
