Valentine’s Day is mostly hyped up to be just for lovers, but I like to show everyone in my life I love them. Whether it’s baking my parents a cake, giving J a bottle of his favorite scotch, or sending my best friend a card and her favorite sugar cookies. Over the weekend I held a Valentine’s get-together with some favorite ladies, where we laughed over sweets, and decorated cookies. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to show them how much I loved them with simple yet sweet Valentine’s day gifts.Who doesn’t love a box full of surprises. I bought kraft take out boxes, hand stamped them with a rose, and then wrote each gal’s name. You can fill your Valentine gift boxes with anything your favorite ladies would like. You can even customize the boxes, say for a fashionista with makeup, or chocolates, or even small but cute office supplies. I gave my ladies the option to choose their own nail color and these easy DIY keychains, and then had them fill the rest with candy and cookies they decorated. Now, what girl wouldn’t love to head home with a few sweet macarons to snack on and a brand new Essie nail polish. I’d say it’s everything a girl could want on Valentine’s day.
