I’m Ami B. Kaplan, LCSW. I’m a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in New York City and have worked with Transgendered and Transsexual individuals for many years.
I’m a long time member and committee member of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health). I’m interested in a discussion of what works and what doesn’t work in helping individuals achieve the highest level of comfort with their past and current lives, with transitioning and with dealing with the problems of growing up with some form of gender variance.
