The great new Android app, CloudOn allows Windows users to familiarize themselves with an Android tablet and use those good-old Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint right on the Android operating system for free. CloudOn is a very useful app for busy office employees who likes to work on the go. Thanks to this app, you can now leave your big laptop at home and just edit and create those Office documents using an Android tablet.

Now you may wonder, how is this even possible? Well, thanks to latest cloud technologies, you can simply install this CloudOn app on your tablet and do your Office-based work on your Android tablet, without having to even spend money.

Basically this app uses your Box, Dropbox or Google Drive cloud storage  to manage and store your office documents. CloudOn actually allows you to not only create Office documents but also to view files types such as PDF, JPG, PNG, GIF and more.

Good thing about this app is that Windows users doesn’t have to learn about creating and editing Office documents from scratch because it’s the same apps that we use on Windows computers. Although it takes a couple of seconds to open up the documents with this app. But once it’s open, the app performs  fast enough to let you easily do your work. And with a super-fast internet connection it wont be even a problem.

Head over to Google Play store to download the CloudOn app for free. The app requires Android version 3.1 or better. Check out GottaBeMobile‘s hands-on video for more info.
