Urban Veda Reviving Set

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Urban Veda is a brand that I hadn't crossed paths with until recently when they got in touch to offer to send me a few pieces from their range to try out. Today I wanted to talk about the Reviving set.
Urban Veda Reviving Set
INCLUDED IN THE SET
The set comes packages in a gift bag with a drawstring. Inside the bag are three miniature products all of which are 50ml each - The Reviving Body Lotion, Reviving Body Scrub & Reviving Body Wash.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Urban Veda pride themselves on containing no harmful ingredients. There are no SLS, No Parabens and no GM ingredients in the range.
WHAT DID I THINK?
The scent of all of these is of delicate rose and all of them open with a screw top which is really annoying. For me, if these even had a squeezy dispenser it would have been much better than trying to whack this onto your hand a million times to get some product to come out.
REVIVING BODY LOTION
A small amount goes a long way with this and it feels almost water based, a little like a serum with a twist (which sounds weird). Although it smells of rose to begin with, as it oxidises on the skin you can smell jasmine. It feels nice on the skin, it's non sticky or greasy which I love.
REVIVING BODY SCRUB
The body scrub is my least favorite of the three products, mainly because it's so hard to get it out of the bottle. On the plus side, this is more salty than beady which I like and it
REVIVING BODY WASH
This is a really thick formula which normally would be off-putting for me, but actually because this is so thick, a small amount goes a really long way and lathers well. I love the smell of this and the only downside is the dispenser - screw top shower fails are my nemesis!
OVERALL
Overall I really like this brand, I like that it's free of so many chemicals and the products are pretty good. I didn't like the scrub so much and the fact that these all have screw tops really is frustrating. With that said, if the full sized products have better dispensers, I'd be all over them!
