By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Urban Decay pretty much have it nailed when it comes to eyeshadow palettes and whilst I am definitely a neutrals kinda gal, I am always so tempted to try out more color and so the Urban Decay Vice 4 palette was right up my street. Get ready to drool cos' here it is in ALL IT'S GLORY!

Normally I would stick to neutral shades and go bronzey if I fancied being a bit 'edgy' - LOLZ - Living life on the edge huh?
Last weekend was Halloween and I figured I could experiment with some color and if it all went wrong, I could just say it was channeling the Halloween vibes! So I decided to go for a dark eye and a blue/purple lip... ALL using this palette! Yes, even the lips!

For eyes, I used "bone" all over, and "crowbar" in the crease. I then lined my eyes using a normal liquid liner but then went in with a pencil brush using "Pandemonium" which gave it a shimmery edge.
For lips, I used a really pale lip butter all over so I used the Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulée and lined my lips using a fine liner brush and "Deadbeat" before pressing in (using my fingers) "Beatdown" and "Underhand". I then finished with a clear gloss that I pressed into the lips.
In terms of lasting power on my eyes this was the bees shizzles. It lasted all night long and I was actually really feeling the color. For the lips - a few drinks in and this was all over the place but I didn't expect great things from it tbh. It's not really what the palette is designed for.
I think I will stick to using it on my eyes from now on, but I definitely am excited to try new colourful looks using this palette.
Have you tried it out?
