Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer Potion

By Sparklingker @sparklingker

Hello! How was everyone’s long weekend? Primers are one of those items in a makeup bag that is pretty important, well to me anyway :) . Today I will be reviewing the Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer Potion, which has been available for years. I came across this last year when BeautyBay had 20% off store wide, so I decided to give it a go. Having had it for almost 7 months, I only started using it last month.

Smooth on a little Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer Potion before foundation (or alone!) to minimize the look of pores and fine lines. The velvety formula simmers down to a soft-matte finish—without the greasy, heavy feel sometimes associated with foundation primers. The result is flawless skin with an airbrushed look and feel. Foundation will go on smoothly, evenly, and won’t fade away.

The primer goes on as a soft-matte finish, without being greasy and heavy. Best of all, it is not tacky on the face. I’ve read reviews where people said the primer smells like glue. I was smelling it like there’s no tomorrow but I couldn’t smell anything which is a +1 for me, love unscented products. The packaging is in a squeezable tube with a small nozzle which gives you total control on how much product you want. A small pea size is enough to cover the entire face. The finish is lovely and my skin feels smooth. However, I don’t feel like it completely minimises my pores. Foundation does go on quite nicely and it does last up to a day depending on the foundation you are using of course.
