I've been putting money aside for a couple of months now in order to buy myself a new camera. After researching many different brands and figuring out what I wanted from a camera, I finally decided on the Samsung NX1000 in white. Luckily, I picked it up in the sale in Currys for £250 - an absolute bargain at half price!
I think photography is a huge part of blogging and now that my blog audience is growing I thought it'd be the perfect time to invest in a new camera. I went for this particular model as it's small enough to be practical and carry around (and hopefully vlog with! eek!) but advanced enough to give me the quality photos that I'm after. I didn't think I was ready for a SLR just yet as I'm still getting to grips with the basics of photography but I think this camera just 'suits' me.
I'm still playing around with it as I promised myself that if I bought a new camera I would learn how to use it properly. If you know of any good websites or blog posts that help with 'beginners to photography' or 'basics of photography' or something along those lines please leave them below!
