As I mentioned in my last post, up-cycling is a hobby I am deeply passionate about. And when the item to be reused/up-cycled is wood, I really do not want to miss the opportunity. So after the up-cycled bench in Part I of this post, I had ample parts of the frame left over. So, I just decided to get put the pieces together for a shelf that could be either hung on the wall or just placed on a table.
Here are some pictures “before” and “after”:
Old teak frames Pieces cut and nailed together The pieces joined together as per my abstract design The shelf after polish Can be used to display just about anything!Do let me know if you have any other ideas on how to have re-used these frames better. Would love to hear from you.
