Following up my feature on the Pamella Roland Resort 2018 Collection, I wanted to turn the spotlight on the hair and makeup and provide a better view of the Bvlgari jewels that adorned the models. Marshall Lin of Frédéric Fekkkai created an updated take on the sleek and polished hair look made popular by Cher in the 70's. The models sported straight blowouts with middle parts to complement the elegant looks of the collection. Rick DiCecca, Global Makeup Artist for Artistry designed a makeup look with defined eyes with long lashes and soft neutral lids paired with berry stained lips and soft rosy cheeks atop a glowing complexion that looked lit from within. The look was quite polished and evoked a sense of glamour and sophistication to echo the fashions. Since the presentation was staged at Bvlgari, the fashions were accessorized with jewelry from the Italian luxury brand. The sparkling baubles were just as eye-catching as the sparkling fashions and a few of the models I spoke with told me they were a dream to wear. The center part might be a little difficult to pull off for most of us but otherwise the hair and makeup look to be very pretty and wearable.
