Unknown Mortal Orchestra Cover Dirty Projectors on New Acoustic Ep [stream]

Psychedelic R&B trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra have stripped down their usual electro in favor of a more acoustic sound. Their new EP Blue Record, dropping October 29th on Jagjaguwar, features three tracks off their latest release II as well as Dirty Projectors and Beck covers. Fittingly, the album cover features the same mysterious sword-wielding woman present in the album art of II, looking more contemplative and, well…blue. Lucky for us, UMG wears the acoustic hat well. Check out the first release above, a swoon-worthy cover of “Swing Lo Magellan”
