As Americans celebrate the Fourth of July and Independence, we join to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July and a great weekend.
As I always do on this day, I am thankful to the United States of America for opening its doors to me in 1962 as a 14-year-old Cuban refugee. I will forever be grateful of what my adopted country has done for me.
I am proud to call myself an American.
