Don’t say we didn’t warn y’all about that slippery slope!

Natalie Bennett, the leader of the Green Party, was asked if the party would do anything to further the rights of people in three-way relationships, specifically allowing them to marry. Bennett said the Greens would be up for legalizing three-way marriages.
Note: Natalie Bennett is a journalist, originally from Australia, who is the leader of the Green Party of England and Wales since 2012. Her partner is Jim Jepps, a left-wing activist who is a former member of the Socialist Workers Party.
The very objective journalists Federica Cocco and Anna Leach continue that “In fact allowing three way marriages would solve several of Britain’s big social problems” — those of housing, “your children’s university fees,” and “in-work poverty,” i.e., the working poor.
But the very objective journalists Federica Cocco and Anna Leach concede that polygamy, which the very objective journalists Cocco and Leach prefer to call “polyamorous unions” (because it’s all about “love”!) “might be a bureaucratic and legal challenge, if the Greens ever manage to get it passed.”
For one, polygamy, oops, “polyamorous unions” presently are illegal in the UK.
But if polygamous Brits were to move to one of the following countries colored black in the map below — all Muslim countries — with an employment or student visa, then “congratulations! You’re a legally recognised polyamorous household.”
But wait.
There’s still a problem!
“This means when you claim Income Support, Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, Pension Credit and Housing Benefit as a three-way married partnership . . . you don’t get as much money“! Because “These benefits are only payable for wives residing in Great Britain.”
That’s what Chris Grayling, then-Conservative Minister for Employment (damn those Conservatives!), told Parliament in 2011.
There are other problems still:
- A wife in a polygamous marriage currently doesn’t have the right to a state pension on the basis of her spouse’s contributions.
- “Mainstream” tax doesn’t recognize polygamous unions.
- Universal Credit rules will not recognize additional partners in polygamous relationships.
- The new Marriage Allowance provides a tax break only for married couples and civil partners.
Lastly, super objective journalists Cocco and Leach admit that the greatest challenge to legalizing polygamy is that “people will oppose it.”
Why?
“Because people love to get involved in and legislate others’ private lives,” that’s why.
But those busybody “people” evidently are not the Mirror‘s readers. The “report” by Cocco and Leach includes a poll at the end: “Do you think polyamorous marriage should be legal?”
As of yesterday evening, the poll results are 55% yes; 45% no.
Next on the culture-destroyers’ agenda: Legalize pedophilia and bestiality!
Why?
