Ubuntu Smartphone OS – can this new mobile operating system challenge Android? Yes, I would definitely hope so as it appears to be one awesome smartphone OS.
After watching the first teaser video, most people started claiming that the Ubuntu Smartphone OS looked running slow and laggy. But, as you can see on this hands-on video, those claims are not true because it seems to be running pretty smoothly on this device ( a Galaxy Nexus).
